Christian Prayer for Getting A Job - The 7 Guidelines for successful Christian prayer.

 I assume you know the basics of praying.  There are many principles of course, however the following guidelines involve areas of prayer I see being mis-used or neglected by too many of my Christian friends, and then their prayers remain unanswered.  Unanswered prayers are discouraging which is sad, when by knowing and employing these guidelines in addition to already established prayer principles, bountiful answers are so readily available.

Question: Can God do anything?  

Answer, yes, but he has over-riding plans for each human that depend upon maintaining FREE WILL and He does not want to do anything that damages the over-ridng plans.  So follow along now so you do not bounce your prayers fruitlessly against some critical rules that God has established.

#1: WHAT IS LIFE ALL ABOUT?

Humans generally (and especially if baptized CHRISTIAN) are in school here to learn

LOVE, and FAITH,

all under the auspices of human

FREE WILL.  

God could receive tons of robot love, angels can be manufactured by God to love,

but those angels would not have full range free will, so the love would be sort of programed,

sort of "wired in " so to speak.  

Humans with free will ,when they love, love special, they can choose to love.  

The preservation of human free will is therefore very VERY VERY PRECIOUS.

As long as your tommorrow teaches love it's O.K.  BEYOND THAT Whether you are LEARNING LOVE in the class-room of a bountiful lifestyle or a poverty plagued slum class-room is then left up to YOUR free will.  

It really is LEFT TO YOU, with a very deep respectful avoidance of crossing over your

free will.  

So let's examine how that affects the success of prayer more closely in the next section:

#2. Free Will is utterly respected.  Free will cannot be violated by the God Triune(Father/Son/Holyspirit). THEREFORE If you pray a vague prayer like:" Please Lord let me find a job."  The probabilities are high that nothing will happen.  Your heavenly Father wants to help you, He loves you, but your prayer is so vague it indicates that your thinking is vague, and thus there is too much chance your Father might get you a job you hate, or can't do correctly, or just plain deep down in your heart of hearts really did not want. ANY OF THOSE CASES WOULD BE A VIOLATION OF YOUR FREE WILL! In other words He knows you are unhappy, but dares not try to fulfill your desires since you have failed to provide SPECIFICS.  He is the ruler of the Universe (and beyond), He is not poor, give Him specifics and POW things will begin to happen.

Be vague with your prayer and YOU TIE GOD'S HANDS since He WILL NOT HAZARD crossing your free will!  If He is not sure of what your will really is, how can even the Lord be sure of not crossing your will?

Your free will is precious and RESPECTED and may not be crossed without dire consequences to you.  "Even you who are evil if your child asked for bread would not hand him a snake, so much more so your Heavenly Father will not give you bad answers to your prayers."  

However:  He cannot give you good answers or any answers at all for BAD PRAYERS.  

Sloppy, vague, fuzzy prayers TIE GOD'S HANDS since

there is too much possibility for answers that are wrong relative to

what you really desire deep in your mind and soul.

THEREFORE TO RECEIVE AN ANSWER

YOU MUST BE AS SPECIFIC AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE:

Be specific, get a notebook and write page by page the details of the BEST job you can imagine for yourself.   Search your heart of hearts.  If your desire would require new education for new skills go for it, put it down with the request for pathways to open up to get you the education needed.  The rule is DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS and more DETAILS.  (To grant a loan request bankers usually require a detailed business plan, they apparently understand prayers better than most Christians.  DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS.  

Where will the job be?  Local or travel needed? Type clothes? Daily routines and duties?  Service to humanity aspect?  Wages expected? Pay weekly, bi monthly, monthly, pay plus commission?  

Your own business?  For your own business, if you see a common need and can fill that need, people will indeed buy your goods or services.  Clientele? Goods or services?  Square footage for store or shop?  Hours?  

Do research, talk to people. If in your plan college is needed visit the school and talk to the financial aid officer (making an appointment is probably best.).  If your own business get a business plan outline to fill in (software or simple Small Business Administration paper outline.)  Then , when you have PRECISE DETAILS ALL MAPPED OUT, whatever your desire,  take it (IN DETAIL) to the Lord in Jesus name in prayer (and keep moving, do not just sit around waiting for magic to strike) which brings us to the next principle which is:  

#3.  Social aspects of prayer answers:  Yes, other people are praying too.  How many people do you think pray to win the State money lottery each week?  Obviously if everyone won each person could only get one dollar!  Be aware there are others out there, many of them praying too.  If your desire is very competitive make sure your desire is singular and pure and deep to the heart, the depth and purity will help make your prayer the winner, but if not , if your prayer is not an immediate winner, TRUST your Father and the Holy Spirit, something from deeper in your heart, something better is on the way.

#4. Faith, TRUST THE LORD: This is easy to say, but hard to actually do.  When I was 19 a girl I loved and I parted ways.  It seemed like a heart rending tragedy at the time, looking back ten years later it was obviously one of the better things that had ever happened to me..  Over the years so many things happened that again and again were marvels of God's love, but at the time they happened they seemed absolutely awful.  We have our dusty eyes down here, He is the Alpha and the Omegs and has His perspective THERE, trust His perspective.  (I contemplated suicide at one point in my life over a broken relationship, again,  in the long term, the best thing was the breaking of the relationship, but it hurt terribly because I took it hurtfully at the time - I did not recognize the Lord in my life, but he was there whether I knew it or not.)                 ( The short story is that I was the prodigal son. )

#5:  Be thankful for what you have:  If you are in America, you are a Prince and King:  There are people on this Earth that do not even have a cardboard box in which to sleep.  There are thousands and thousands of humans with no shoes to wear.  Be thankful: Be very thankful for what you have, so approach prayer with humility and always in Jesus name. "Thank you Father in Jesus name have mercy upon me for my sins, thank you for all that I have (list here briefly since He gave you what you have, so He knows what He gave you, so do not bore Him, but let him know you are sincerely aware), I pray thee Lord to expand my kingdom so I may be even more enriched and can turn to help others, I pray thee for (list here specifically even reading your notebook out loud point by point).  Thank you Father for your grace and love and the granting of this request. In Jesus name Amen." Then GO and mirror the grace and love given to you, apply for the job of your dreams, seek the pathway of your heart with a smile of love and confidence, your heavenly Father loves you.

# 6: Tithe:  Rich or relatively less rich TITHE 10% minimum to the church or christian project of your choice.  The Lord has promised 10X return when you invest in His works.  "and your bins shall over-flow, your fields will be bountiful, and I will return to you ten times over"

#7: Make sure your desire is TRUE down to the depths of your subconscious and the depths of your soul.  I actually meditate with a lie detector device before I pray for anything.  I make a statement and see how I react to the depth of my soul via the reactions on the lie detector.  I once stated: "I want to win the powerball lottery!"  The lie detector went nuts - lie - lie - lie!  Apparently 15 to 100 million dollars scared me tremendously!  I was really deep down to my soul terrified of winning the lottery at that time.

There is a passage in the New Testament relative to "If three are together in my name, there is the kingdom."    This is commonly interpretted as three Christians praying together in Jesus name.  This passage like so much of the Holy Bible is like a multifaceted jewel.  This interpretation of three Christians praying together is true, but another interpretation (Nag Hamadi - lost books, also Christian Khuna sect of Hawaii) is that:

When a Christian's conscious, subconscious, and the Holy Spirit are all in agreement, mountains can be moved like helium balloons.  

Why the subconscious?  Apparently one aspect of the Lie Detector machines is that any human who says a lie has a shift in voice, a dissonance, caused by subconscious tensions.  The Army of Israel uses small voice analysis devices to detect lies when interviewing captured soldiers.  THE DISSONANCE HAPPENS IN ANY LANGUAGE!  The Hawiian Christian sect see the subconscious as a pathway for prayers to God.  They claim that the subconscious can become so ashamed by sin that the payers from the conscious are stopped cold!  

I like this concept since it is one possible aspect of the power in Jesus forgiving sins as He guided miracles.

Does your conscious mind want the goal of the prayer?  Does your subconscious want the goal of the prayer?  Does your subconscious believe Jesus has forgiven your sins?  Is the goal something the Holy Spirit embraces?   Make sure your prayer is 100% TRUE, make sure you are FREE in grace through Jesus sacrifice, and watch the fireworks happen!

WHATEVER THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS MIGHT BE: Remember:

 Your heavenly Father loves you.
