"PEEK AND TREAT" (tm.) for 2012 has solved all the problems with ACCEL and it is fun too!
I think it is a Chiropractic dream come true - daily proof via "Seeing is Believing" !
Over the years (since 1992) I've had many wonderful adventures with accelerated healing, BUT
2011 - 2012 has proven to be the most fun due to further strengthening the practice
with my newest design: "PEEK and TREAT"!
It involves a lost wave shape and voltage lost to history since approximately the 1917 - 1927 era.
(I was amazed at a recent chiropractic association meeting when I mentioned " a six figure income" and
all the young docs turned and glared at me. It was a good I did not add that my practice is cash & carry
with NO NETWORK affiliations and nonsensical attempts by book keepers to over-ride my doctorship.
I often sympathize with patients that have insurance that limits the number of chiropractic visits per year
regardless of condition or trauma, such a shameful unrealistic situation should be a punishable crime.
I was fatigued by the young doctors' chronic bickering about insurance payments,
and said something like, " let's discuss something else since you all are pulling in a six figure income
regardless as long as you put in the hours"!)
Ooops! O.K. so the fun of "PEEK and TREAT" (tm) this year has been patients can watch their own
tissues change for the better as therapy is administered. This is an instant "convincer" and then when the
patient RAPIDLY feels better the value of chiropractic at my office is super confirmed. It also helps that healing is 50X
to 100X faster than normal with near zero scar tissue. YES, PEEK and TREAT is an ACCEL class therapy.
If you have watched the two video links relating to ACCEL you know how I had been employing ultrasound scanner
monitored TENS in the sensory-sub sensory threshold to achieve ACCEL effects.
That was good, but had some draw backs:
#1 The low volt required a positive and negative electrode, thus if employed too close to the ultrasound scanner head
the gel used for scanning short circuited the therapy and the patient received zero effect.
#2. The TENS type micro current was extremely time sensitive, 10 seconds made the difference between good and bad.
#3. A few patients physiologically over reacted to the Lo Volt ACCEL and suffered residual aches
which worsened as the healing happened. (They were finally grateful to be healed, but wished pain could have been avoided.)
#4. The set up time for gel, pads, leads, and scanner was considerable and sometimes awkward for the doctor.
PEEK AND TREAT for 2011 has solved all the problems with ACCEL and it is fun too!
With the new PEEK and TREAT for 2011=2012 :
I scan along the spine with ultrasound scan, then when a target is seen I linger, press a button, and voila
accel begins right where I am aiming. The patient and I can watch the changes together.
# 1. Special wave shape and frequency with unipole electrode avoids any short circuit potential.
#2. Time sensitivity is tremendously lessened.
#3. After 11 months of use only one patient experienced any residual discomfort (mild),
{{ Primary effect of this wave shape and voltage seems to be lymph dilation
that keeps pressures low as healing accelerates, so no pain increase is generated
and pain relief is often fairly instant.))
#4 Set up time is one tenth the former set up time.
My hours are basically M-W-Fri 10AM til 9 PM. [ Tues. by appt.] so if you are interested in more
information call to set up a telephone appointment time please.
( I rarely have the freedom of time to just hop onto the phone).
I think with the present day emphasis on cost effective care ACCEL has a strong future.
I think with high quality scanner prices falling , the potential for sales is huge.
I think it is fun to save patients from the pangs of amputations and disability with ACCEL.
I think it is fun to have a nice cash and carry six figure income because you are
demonstrably succeeding in healing non healing wounds and extreme conditions
where other clinicians have failed !
